Wedding Reception in Ontario

It is a privilege to get asked to cater, decorate, and entertain at a wedding reception!  We know that they will remember this party for the rest of their lives, so the pressure is on.  Yet, we feel that way about most of our luaus.  The host/hostess is always so excited and has big dreams about the event.  Everyone on our staff tries their best to make each luau a success.

50th Wedding Anniversary

A review that is this positive is quite intimidating for us to live up to, but the Islanders Luau crew truly strives to make each event the very best possible.  We know that our customers are throwing a party for very special reasons, and it is important for us to make it a success!

Ohana is the best word I can think of to describe Maril and the Islander’s Luau! Words can hardly describe how Maril and his family far exceeded all of our expectations for my parents 50th Wedding Anniversary! My parents have visited the Islands of Hawaii for the last 50 years of their marriage as a place for vacation, rejuvenation, and for the love of each other and the Islands!
When I first spoke with Maril he stated that they would bring the Islands to us!! That is the very best explanation to describe all that Maril brought to our celebration! The experienced dancers, the delicious food, the authentic music, the engaging costumes, and the warm people of the Islands created the passion for the Islands! Everyone that had ever attended a luau in Hawaii, stated, commented, and expressed that the Islander’s Luau was the very best Luau that they had ever attended!!
I will say that Maril felt like family the moment I met him and I chose Islander’s Luau simply by looking on the internet and talking to Maril over the phone! He is a genuine, personable, warm, authentic, professional, courteous, talented, engaging, and an impressive Chief!!
I know that my Daughter and my Father both posted a review to Yelp. I was also able to post a review on Yelp but the site continues to say it is having a problem. This is what I posted to Yelp and please feel free to re-post if you can get the google site to work.

A popular review site's "algorithms" think these reviews are Too good to be true!

A well-known review site uses an algorithm to decide which reviews are true and which ones are fake.  Anything they deem to be fake is listed as "not currently recommended".  Not only has their algorithm rejected reviews from our friends and family--even if they were paying clients, but they have also rejected twelve  5-star reviews from clients who spent their valuable time writing heartfelt reviews.  Here they are!

Toro Company Party

We worked with Patrice for over a year (!) to help her plan her company luau for 180 people at Toro Irrigation Company in Riverside. It included some great island props, pig ceremony and the show. Since they were on a tight schedule we organized the catering so that we fed all 180 people in about 20 mins. Even though their business presentations went over their time schedule, we were able to make up for it and accomplish their luau event on-time.

Vintner's Grove Luau

Guests in Rancho Cucamonga were greeted with the wonderful aroma of Islanders on-site grill, while they were entertained with our Islanders "Villages" getting island tattoos, making leis, and learning the hula.  Our Teriyaki Chicken Bowl and Pulled-Pork Bowl with grilled vegetables were enjoyed by all.   The evening was topped off by Islander Luau hula girls and a fire dancer!

Spectacular San Juan Capistrano Luau!

“This is our second time using Islanders Luau Entertainment & Catering. We loved them the first time and even though there are other companies out there, I can’t imagine using anyone else. From catering, to performances and even their amazing decorations, they do it all flawlessly. Maril and his group bring their heart and soul into every aspect. The food was excellent. My guests especially loved the chicken and salmon barbequed on site, and the pig ceremony was a huge hit. Each performance was great, but the fire dance at the end of the evening was exceptional and definitely “wowed” my guests.
