“We hired Islanders Luau to provide catering and entertainment for our son’s first birthday party, and it was amazing!!! From working with Maril during the planning process through the event itself, it was seamless and wonderful. We had a full pig with a pig ceremony, and it was the absolute best pork we have ever had. The pig ceremony really set the stage for an awesome party as well. All of the food was delicious and traditional. The show was funny, authentic, and so much fun! “Aloha, Maril! I want to congratulate your team on helping me to execute a phenomenal luau for my 40th birthday. Everything was incredible, and all of my guests were blown away by how amazing everything was, from the food to the entertainment to the pig ceremony. The team was professional and polite and felt like ohana.
The food: Everyone was raving about the food, especially the meatballs and the chicken. And there was plenty of it. Some of my guests were able to go away with some take-home boxes, and my family brought home a bag of pork and a bag of fried rice to eat the following day. It was perfect.
The pig ceremony: my guests were amazed and thought that was the neatest thing. Many of them kept saying that they’ve never seen anything like that except for in Hawaii. And the pig was delicious too!
The bartender: Matt Schwartz was the guy that the company sent. I don’t know if you typically contract with this company, but Matt was phenomenal. He was exactly what I wanted.
The music: We loved all of the authentic island music. There was a little bit of everything, and it was fun seeing my family dance and have a good time.
The set up and tear down: The team was great and placing the decor and everything as I had envisioned it. It came out exactly like the picture in my head. Even better.
The show: Everyone did a fabulous job. The kane was super impressive with his fire dancing, and the girls danced beautifully and really got my guests to get into the fun with a few crowd participation dances.
There is nothing I would have changed. Everything was just wonderful. Such an incredible memory I was able to create with my family and friends with the help of your team.

What a wonderful experience!! Everything turned out perfect—all of the staff were on time and professional, the lei greeter made our guests feel welcome , the 2 hula dancers and lead entertainer were awesome, and the food was very tasty! I loved the presentation of the food, and the table was decorated perfectly. All the staff were so helpful with all our needs. “What can I say?! The entertainment, the food, the people, the whole experience was more than I could’ve asked for and exceeded my best expectations!! The food was to die for—grilled fresh on site (torturing you with the smell), and OH. SO. GOOD!!! We booked them last minute for a school party, and they came through quickly and professionally. They set up authentic island educational (and fun) booths and kept the kids entertained all afternoon. All the teachers agreed that having Islanders Luau was like being in the islands. The show was mesmerizing and kept the kids and adults enthralled and completely captivated. They even stayed after and mingling with the kids, teaching dance moves, letting them see the drums, and taking photos. I will absolutely book with them again! Everyone was amazing, professional, and so friendly. They treated us like family.”
